CLEVELAND, Ohio – The greatest rapper of all time. One of country music’s greatest icons. Mainstays of MTV. Singer-songwriter royalty and more.
To say the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2022 is busy would be an understatement. On Saturday, November 5, Eminem, Dolly Parton, Duran Duran, Carly Simon, Pat Benatar and Eurythmics will be honored at a ceremony at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Additionally, the Rock Hall will use its parallel categories to honor the likes of Judas Priest, the Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis writing and production team, Harry Belafonte, and folk pioneer Elizabeth Cotten. Meanwhile, entertainment attorney Allen Grubman, record executive Jimmy Iovine and hip-hop record producer Sylvia Robinson will each receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
This year marks the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s first ceremony in Los Angeles since 2013. It returns with a collection of iconic and influential acts worthy of the City of Angels.
