Spiritbox’s “Circle With Me” is without a doubt a metalcore highlight of 2021. But if a listener needs further proof of that, look no further than the video below of a 2 year old. years playing quite precisely one of the drum parts of April Eternal blue single from the group.
After all, it’s never too early to start playing an instrument, right? And this kid looks pretty awesome on the kit. Maybe that’s because they seem to be related to drummer Alex Camarena from metalcore band Silent Planet, if not to Camarena’s own child. Camarena is the one who shared the clip, tagging Spiritbox singer Courtney LaPlante in the accompanying post.

Spiritbox Eternal blue is Loudwire’s Album of the Year for 2021, as well as a top favorite of the year. Spiritbox and Silent Planet are both on Loudwire’s 2021 lists for Top Metal Songs and Top Rock and Metal Albums. Last month, Silent Planet returned with Iridescent, preceded by singles such as “Panopticon”.
Spiritbox is set to tour North America next year with Underoath and Every Time I Die. Their summer tour with Limp Bizkit was canceled after a few stops when the group led by Fred Durst dropped out.
